Lillooet is a municipality located in the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District of British Columbia. With a population of 2302, it is a great place to call home. Lillooet has a total area of 27.63 km². One of the southernmost towns where indigenous people form the majority. The St'at'imc Nation has been living in the region for thousands of years. The location of the Fraser River, situated in the Lower Fountain and Bridge River Rapids, make for a very popular salmon fishing and salmon drying site. The high school also services small rural communities like Seton Portgae, Gold Bridge and Bralorne. The town is a rugged mountain town that has four season activities available, a "main street", features a bakery , two grocery stores, and small shops. Lillooet is home to the famous " lulu lemon hike", among many others. Try your hand at a guided world-famous sturgeon fishing and the Fraser River.
