Welcome to Lytton, a beautiful municipality located in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District of British Columbia. Back in the late 1800s, after European settlers made their way to the area, the village was part of the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush Route. Lytton holds the highest temperature ever recorded in Canada. Because of the dry summer air and low elevation, Lytton often sees summer temperatures of 40+ degree Celsius. Currently Lytton is rebuilding it's town after a devastating fire burned through the village and destroyed nearly everything there. The town is committed to coming together and rebuilding even stronger than it was before.
