Run by West Fraser Timber is a very large-scale papermill that has been operational since 1981. Recreational activities include hockey, soccer, aquafit, trail running, yoga and much more. In the winter enjoy snowshoeing, x-country skiing, snowmobiling, Baskerville's Shamrock Tube Run, and lots of ice Fishing. AN hour's drive east of Quesnel you can embark on one of the greatest canoe or kayak adventures of your life. People come from all around the world to take part in a 6-10 day circuit of Boworn Lake Provincial Park. With plenty of hiking, camping, and fishing opportunities, Quesnel is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
