Valemount

Valemount is a beautiful municipality located in the Fraser-Fort George Regional District of British Columbia. With a population of 1052 and an area of 5.16 km², it is the perfect place to live and raise a family. Valemount is the nearest community to Jasper National Park, the home of the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies, Mount Robson. Valemount is working on the goal of becoming a favorite stop on Hwy 5". Working on their tourism efforts, the village identified and promoted larger projects like the sightseeing gondola, and smaller projects like the Big Foot Trail. Valemount has an elementary school and a high school servicing the community. The town keeps its residents safe with a full health care centre staffing three full time doctors, support staff, lab technicians and nurses.
