Nestled in the sunny Okanagan Valley, Clearwater is a vibrant community with plenty to offer residents and visitors alike. With a population of just under 2400, Clearwater boasts a small town feel with all the amenities of a larger city. many residents are employed in the Forestry industry but there is also a large agriculture community. Many farmers produce beef, alfalfa, hay crops and vegetables in the area. A main attraction to the area is Wells Gray Provincial Park, famous for it's waterfall and camping. Within the city there are 7 public parks all great for fishing and enjoying the sunny summers! The town has access to mountain biking trails, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and downhill skiing. In the summer, take in one of the local farmers markets, or a baseball game and in the winter, hurry to rink to watch the kids play hockey or line up for the T-Bar at the ski hill. From shopping and dining to recreation and entertainment, Clearwater has something for everyone. And with its proximity to both Kamloops and Vancouver, it's the perfect place to call home.
